Rigby is a nine-month-old brown Holland Lop/Mini Rex mix whose ears never go down. I rescued him and Pilot from a lady in San Antonio back in August 2013. His birthday is August 13 (exactly three months from Jojo's).
When I first saw him and Pilot, they were outside in a wire cage surrounded by other cages full of rabbits. The lady turned out to be a breeder (bad, I know), and sold other farm animals as well (I have since pledged to only purchase animals from animal shelters or from people who are rehoming animals). I felt bad for him, and hated seeing the sort of condition him and his brother were in. The end result, I ended leaving with not one, but two bunnies.
Rigby is actually handicapped, he's is missing two toes. Despite his condition, Rigby still acts like any other bunny, and doesn’t let his missing toes keep him from jumping over boxes, standing up straight or running around. He's been to the vet multiple times, and there seems to be no problems with him, aside from some missing digits.
When he’s not eating or harassing Pilot, Rigby
loves scratching and gnawing at pieces of wood and pinecones. He also enjoys redecorating his cage, and will usually push his litter box to the middle of the cage so that he can run laps around it.
He has a little mole on his left cheek (you can actually see it in the picture), and is as big as Jojo, despite being three months younger. He loves eating greens, everything from kale, spinach, cilantro, parsley and mint. He also likes hay, and is always the first one to need a refill on his water.
